While all students participate in one-on-one instruction in the core content areas, several “whole school” classes are held in which teachers and students all participate. Students and staff present to the group and become members of working pairs or triads for small group assignments within the class. In this way, the teachers continue to model exemplary communication skills, encourage higher level thought processes, and engage students in ways that are meaningful to their learning.
